6-Week Somatic Movement Program
Regulate Stress. Release Tension. Increase Mobility.
This 6-week series is designed to help you gently unwind stress, reduce pain, release stored tension and improve mobility through somatic movement practices.
Week 1: Calm the Nervous System
Learn Vagus Nerve and breathing techniques to calm the body’s stress response. Understand how the nervous system affects muscle tension and gain tools to move out of fight, flight, or freeze—laying the foundation for healing.
Week 2: Release the Hips
Begin working with the psoas, a core muscle where the body holds deep stress and trauma. Releasing this area creates space and ease in the hips and lower back.
Week 3: Lower Body Release
Expand into the legs with guided releases for the quads, hamstrings, and calves. These practices relieve tension contributing to hip, knee, and lower back discomfort.
Week 4: Upper Body Release
Build on previous work by addressing tension in the thoracic spine, arms, and neck—areas commonly affected by posture, stress, and overuse.
Week 5: Jaw, Head & Face Release
Release patterns of jaw clenching, teeth grinding, and facial tension. Learn how these areas connect to headaches, neck pain, and misalignments of the face and neck.
Week 6: Full Body Integration
Bring it all together with a full-body release session. You’ll also receive tools and guidance to continue your practice confidently on your own.

Dates: Each class will be on Wednesday beginning May 7th, ending June 11th.
Time: 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Location: SheStrength in Hutchinson, KS
Tuition: 3 payments of $150
